    These plants grown in the USA look nothing like the ones grown in Asia. Those are the ones I want to purchase as the way the leaves grow is stunning.

    What a beautiful giant plant! Thanks for the video, I found one in the garden center today and I totally couldn't leave it there. I wasn't even expecting to get one of these. Mine is a medium size. It is inside a plastic pot, inside a terracotta pot, do you think that's okay?
    What a pleasure to see your amazing plant, it seems happy!

      Thank you so much for watching ♥ They are beautiful plants for sure! I tend to keep mine in nursery pots and the cache pots as well. I wouldn't recommend terracotta for these plants but using it as a cache pot is perfect.

    She is so stunning! I have a McColley's Finale that I adore. Speaking of easy going plants, Cast Irons are super easy. I have a variegate Cast Iron and the Milky Way. Slow growers though. You will have to tell me which plant nurseries I should go check out. I'm about 3 hours north of Barrie. Which ones are your favourite?

      Thank you! McColley is on my wish list and so is the Cast Iron plant! The Cast iron is near impossible to find around here though at the Watering Can we finally found smaller ones for $70 so I might be going back for that. Where did you find the variegated or milky way?? I might need to take a road trip in your direction 😅 We plan to get out Barrie way in May to check out a couple nurseries for my summer plants. Our favourite nurseries are The Watering Can in Vineland, Belgian Nursery in Breslau (near Guelph), Holland Nursery and Harpers Garden Center in Dundas, Ontario.

      @@Scatteredsprout I got the variegated cast iron from marketplace on Facebook but the Milky Way was at our local Freskiw's a nursery in Greater Sudbury. They can be expensive!

      @@jorats I have yet to purchase a plant online but I can now see why ...some plants just can't be found around here! So the search continues 🙂 Maybe one day we will get out that way and check it out...I think we will drive just about anywhere for a nursery 😅

    Can you prune these, as mine is now huge, and I need her to not get any taller. ?

      @Scatteredsprout  4 месяца назад

      Oh I'd love to see a pic! Yes you can prune, but be careful not to take more than 25%. Cut those out of control leaves just above the nodes to encourage branching and fullness or you can prune below the nodes and propagate. Think about the shape you want before you start snipping 🙂
